Με την ευκαιρία του εορτασμού της ιεράς μνήμης της Αγίας Νεομάρτυρος Κυράννης της Οσσαίας, θα διεξαχθούν, υπό την αιγίδα της Ιεράς Μητροπόλεως Λαγκαδά, Λητής και Ρεντίνης και με τη συνεργασία της Διεθνούς Ακαδημίας Θεολογικών και Φιλοσοφικών Σπουδών «Οι Άγιοι Κύριλλος και Μεθόδιος» και του Τμήματος Θεολογίας του Πανεπιστημίου Λευκωσίας, εόρτιες Λατρευτικές Εκδηλώσεις και Διεθνές Θεολογικό Συνέδριο, με θέμα: «Ο Άγιος Λάζαρος, ο τετραήμερος και φίλος του Χριστού». Χαιρετισμοί στην εκδήλωση τιμής προς τον Άρχοντα Μουσικοδιδάσκαλο του Οικουμενικού Πατριαρχείου κ. Θεόδωρο Βασιλικόπου πραγματοποίησαν  οι φοιτητές του Τμήματος Θεολογίας του ΑΠΘ την Τετάρτη, 20 Φεβρουαρίου  στο Α’ Αμφιθέατρο της Θεολογικής Σχολής.  

Η Φλώρα Καραγιάννη, Έφορος Πατριαρχικού Ιδρύματος Πατερικών Μελετών, στο τρίτο και τελευταίο μέρος της συνέντευξης της, παρουσιάζει την έκθεση: «ΤΟ ΗΜΕΤΕΡΟΝ ΚΑΛΛΟΣ: Βυζαντινές Εικόνες από την Θεσσαλονίκη», στην οποία εκτίθενται 21 βυζαντινές εικόνες της Θεσσαλονίκης, που αποδεικνύουν με τον πιο εμφατικό τρόπο, την υψηλή καλλιτεχνική αξία των εργαστηρίων της. We Orthodox don’t worship icons, or the saints, the angels or even Our Most Holy Lady the Mother of God. We worship only God in the Trinity, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Today’s Gospel reading presents us with two typical kinds of people: a Pharisee and a Publican, who were praying in the Temple. They were the two opposite poles of society at that time.
