We would like to inform you that, given the rapidly increasing concerns over the world-wide spread of the sickness caused by the corona virus, the 3rd International Conference on Digital Media and Orthodox Pastoral Care, DMOPC20, which was to have been held in Crete at the beginning of May, has now been postponed. Following a decision by the Scientific and the Organizing Committee, the proceedings of the 3rd International Conference on Digital Media and Orthodox Pastoral Care, DMOPC20 will now take place on 9-12 November, in Athens. In the interim, we shall be continuing our intensive work on expanding the International Association of Digital Media and Orthodox Pastoral Care. Very different from wealth (Saint Anthony the Great)

You’ll be a spiritual person when you think of the acquisition of wealth and the profligate life as fantastical and, in fact, a waste of time. And when you recognize that what is virtuous and pleasing to God is very different from riches. When you think carefully about this and you retain it in your memory, you won’t sigh, you won’t mourn, you won’t condemn anyone. You’ll thank God for everything, seeing those worse off than you setting store by words and wealth. Those are the worst passions of the soul, as well as self-will, glory and ignorance.
