Is science able to tell us how the great prophet Isaiah, 700 years before the birth of Christ, foretold all the most salient events of His life? Can it explain the gift of foresight which the saints have? Can it tell us by what physical methods the saints acquired this grace? How, upon seeing a stranger for the first time they were able to understand the heart and read the thoughts of that person? How they were able to answer such a person’s questions before they’d even been asked? Let the scientists explain to us how the saints foretold the great events of history, which, over time, unfolded exactly as they had said they would.
