Ecumenical Patriarch officiates at Trisagion service at grave site of Athonite Elder Joseph of Vatopedi

he Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople, His All Holiness Bartholemew I, on Monday officiated at a Trisagion, «Thrice Holy», service at the grave site of Athonite Elder Joseph of Vatopedi, a disciple of the Elder Joseph the Hesychast.

The Ecumenical Patriarch on Monday paid a historic visit to the Holy and Great Monastery of Vatopedi on the semi-autonomous monastic community.
