ACTION ALERT! TURKISH ACTIVISM AGAINST CYPRIOTS IN WASHINGTON DC

The Cyprus Action Network of America (CANA) has just been informed that the Turkish Lobby, Assembly of Turkish American Associations (ATAA), is “CALLING ALL TURKS” to an all night “VIGIL” in front of the Turkish Embassy in Washington DC for this July 20th 2009, the anniversary date of the illegal Turkish invasion of Cyprus.
The Press Release from the Turkish Lobby, laced with false historical revisionism and anti-Cypriot Hate, has been posted on the Genocide-denial website, Turkish Forum, and in “CALLING ALL TURKS” the press release claims that “A look at the history of Cyprus, shows that it was never a Greek island”:
